Suggest Treatment For Enlarged Blood Vessel In Throat
I have a hard lump in my throat which knocks when i swallow .Dr has done all sorts of tests which is not showing the lump so i am now waiting for them to go in and have a look, but the dr did mention that it could be an enlarged blood vessel. If this is so what does this mean and what is the treatment for it? Your advice would be greatly appreciated. Thankyou. Age 44yrs weight, 68kilos. I am a smoker & suffer from asthma , back problems ,depression
Endoscopy is necessary to examine the nature of the lump. If it is a blood vessel, surgery may be needed. A tumor or inflammation can not be excluded either. That is why endoscopy is the main tool to find out what is really going on.
