Suggest Treatment For Enlarged Tonsils And Nasal Congestion

My daughter has recently been prescribed Avmys for nasal congestion. She has been snoring and has large tonsils. We were concerned about this affecting sleep quality. Is it ok to dispense at bedtime? She seems to be more congested at night. She is turning 11 at the end of April

Hi..
Can understand your concern..

As per your question Avamys sprays contain Fluticasone furoate which is a corticosteroid in nature and is effective in relieving nasal blockage, runny and itchy nose, inflammation of nose and congestion..

There is no such contraindication of not using it bedtime but you should still give it to your daughter atleat half to one hour before sleeping and on same time each day for better results..

As she is less than 11 years one spray per day is enough..
This medicine acts well day and night if regular dose taken as prescribed by your doctor..

Hope your query is solved..

Thanks and regards.
