General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

It is very unusual to have throat cancer at your age. Very likely your symptoms are due to PND (postnasal drip) or GERD (gastroesophageal reflux). You may take Loratadine 10 mg every night and omeprazole 20 mg 30 minutes before breakfast.

If you notice no improvement in 2-3 weeks or you notice any worsening you will need to see your doctor.

I hope this answers your query. I remain at your disposal in case further medical assistance is needed.

Regards,
Dr. Antoneta Zotaj
