Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
Hello Sir, Kam male 40 yrs old.I have epigastric pain in my chest from 5 years and many times I feel discomfort. I had gone through all heart related tests like ECG,ECHO. & TMT., every report is normal,,,,but pain is not gone also I take NEBICARD SM as I am hypertensive from last 2 years.pl advice perfect medicine.
Epigastric pain is caused by multiple causes and one of them is hear involvement. As you have cleared that out then we will focus on remaining conditions. One of the most common cause is Acid Peptic Disease(Ulcer formation in stomach or duodenum). If you can answer following questions then it will help to reach a definitive diagnosis: 1. At what time of the day pain occurs? 2. What is the relation of pain with food intake? 3. Does pain occurs more at night and makes you awake? 4. what diet you take on daily basis?
In the meanwhile i would suggest you to try following things to improve the pain: > Take omeprazole 40mg once daily for 14 days > Take sucralfate suspension twice a day for 10 days > Try to take lighter meal at night before sleep. > Avoid spicy food.
Wishing you good health.
