Suggest Treatment For Epilepsy

Hi - I need some advice for my daughter. She was diagnosed with epilepsy at 15. she is 17 now and is on lamictal 175 mg twice a day. She has been complaining of head pressure and heartburn for several days now and took off school yesterday and again today saying she just felt like her head was extremely heavy and she felt confused and faint when she got up. Is this something for the pediatrician or should i be taking her to the neurologist or am I worried about nothing and it could be just an exhausted teenager
