Suggest Treatment For Episodes Of Dizziness And High Lipid Count
I m having very bad dizzy spells. I took my blood pressure from when I was sitting, it was 128/72 and pulse was 72. When I stood up it dropped to 89/58, pulse was 90. I have been on Atenolol 25mg in the am and the same at bedtime. I had a cardiac ablation and my blood pressure was running around 140/90 so they put me on that and I have not had any problems. I was 40 then and am 53 now. I take a lot of meds, for seizures, pain management, high lipids, and some smaller issues. Last week I developed my annual Bladder infection and was in awful pain and felt like my head was in a cloud for about a week. Just stopped taking the ABT Macrodantin for that yesterday. Just wondering if you had any ideas what this could be? By the way I drink more fluids than a fish. My mouth is always dry from all the meds I take.

Hello,
Since you ave a history of hypertension & cardiac problem & are under medication, you should get a lipid profile done, CBC, Urinalysis, Ecg, Echocardiography & required Imaging tests done to stay on the safer side.
Dizziness with high lipid profile can be indicative of developing CAD. Your treatment will depend upon the pathology detected. Get UTI treated.
Stay away from alcohol, smoking or addictions if any. Take vitamin E rich food or vitamin E (EVION -400), once daily for 15 days to prevent dryness of the mouth.
