Suggest Treatment For Erectile Dysfunction In Elderly Males

My boyfriend is 56 yrs old. He has trouble with erectile dysfunction, and has been having intermittent pain under his right testicle. It is aggravated with walking and standing. It hurts when he pushes on the area. His testicles are larger than they used to be. What would this most likely be?

Hello and Welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service. I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.

He might have infection in his testis or epididymis. Proper urine test is required. Sometimes diabetes hypertension and prostatic hypertrophy at this age can cause such symptoms. I would advice you to visit local doctor for proper lab investigations and an appropriate treatment after proper diagnosis.

Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Kind regards.
