Suggest Treatment For Erectile Dysfunction

Dear doctor, Both my wife n myself have not had sex before. We had a very good foreplay. I had an erect penis, however I am not able to penetrate through her hymen. After repeated attempts at insertion, even my penis loses erection and I am not able to penetrate. How can I solve this problem?

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi,

It may not be due to any physical deformity as erection on the past suggest normal nerve and muscle response however social anxiety or performance pressure may cause such lost erection and may need a psychological evaluation. Also, pain of losing hymen or initial intercourse may take over the pleasure in first few sessions so a sexual council may be sought to overcome such issues. Group therapy may also be helpful.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Saddiq Ulabidin, General & Family Physician
