Suggest Treatment For Erectile Dysfunction

Hi I'm 18 and I have been recently having trouble with getting a full erection for the past month and half. Two months ago, I had stopped masturbating and for about two weeks, I took adderall everyday for studying and noticed about a week later that I could not produce a full erection. I'm not sure if this is a long term effect from that. Ever since, I have not seen much changing. Please let me know how I could treat this. I'm young and should not be experiencing this.

Hello welcome to HCM

Erectile dysfunction is a common problem in youngsters. You are having problem since last 2 months and is causing distress. You are also taking Adderall which is a stimulant drug and in some studies it is known to cause erectile dysfunction. Try to reduce the doses of the drug you are taking and if you are taking prescribed doses then ask your doctor to make dose adjustments.

If on reducing the dose symptoms remains then visit a doctor for help. Medicines like Phosphodiesterase inhibitors as Sildenafil, Tadalafil etc can help in erectile dysfunction. If you are not married then please avoid using the drug. These drugs should be used about half to one hour before sex and prove useful. Visit a doctor for prescription of these drugs.
