Hi,I am Raju.A.T (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
About two month ago my gyn told me I should see my family dr, that she felt something in my neck. Didn t make it sound like it was a rush. I am now experiencing difficulty when swallowing, feels stuck in my throat, noticed it when I am eating sandwiches. I tried to drink something to help it go down, that really burned. Now I am noticing my left side of my neck is sore to touch, not sure if I feel what the doctor said she felt. What kind of tests will the family doctor likely do? What could this be? Lastly when laying in bed at night several times I suddenly have vertigo, never had that before either. I am only 47 years old and a non smoker and have been healthy.
HI Well come to HCM I really appreciate your concern, the most common cause of such symptom could be GERD (Gastric Esophagus Reflux Disease ) and it can be managed with Tab Omeprazole with Domperidone and anti-biotic, no specific test is there to confirm it still you can discus this with your family doctor hope this information helps.
