Suggest Treatment For Excess Lower Back Pain

I have a throbbing lower back pain that intensifies with the cadence of my heart beat. It intensifies in a 5 to 10 minute period, then subsides, but returns. It often results whenever I do some intense tasks or activity, 2 days after. It has gotten worse and worse over the past 15 years. I am 45 now...and this symptom can put me out for 3-5 days. I know it is intensifying, and I don t know how I should treat this. I have had massage and Chiropractic therapy, but it has not proven to work. Help!

Hello,

It may be due to muscle sprain.

For pain you can take tablet acetaminophen.

Continue physical therapy.

Apply diclofenac gel or ointment locally. Heating pads may help.

In case of not getting relief you may require MRI back after orthopedic surgeon consultation

Hope I have answered your query...
Let me know if I can assist you further.
