I have the feeling of some sort of growth, swelling in my throat. Ir makes eating difficult....frrling over full, neasous and bloated. My throat now has a green cover of what I think is mucus, and my chest is starting to hurt. I am having difficulty sleeping and my migraine headaches are back after a ten year break.

Hi Dear ,

Welcome to HCM.

Understanding your concern. As per your query you excess mucus, swelling and lump in throat which is due to tonsillar enlargement or Uvula enlargement. Need not to worry about it. It could be due to swollen neck glands as well. I would suggest you to take few preventive measures such as do warm saline gargles on daily basis 3- 4 times a day. Take proper antibiotic course such as Amoxicillin for 5-7 days. Take anti-inflammatory drugs as well. Visit ENT specialist once and get complete examination done. Go for blood tests along with that get chest x-ray done. you should go for fin needle aspiration cytology of lump and biopsy of lesion to find out exact cause and start treatment accordingly. Maintain proper oral hygiene.

Hope your concern has been resolved.
