Hello,

I have gone through your query and here is my advice. Burping in a 3-year-old may be due excessive swallowing of air while eating or improper digestion or may be due to drinking of aerated drinks. Ask you child to eat slowly. Do not overfeed your baby. Do not give carbonated drinks. Let him walk for a while after meals. If this doesn't help then your child may require further assistance. He may require antacid and H2 blockers after pediatrician consultation.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
