Suggest Treatment For Excessive Swelling And Severe Pain In Feet

I have excessive swelling in both feet, mainly my left foot. Extreme pain in left foot. Any pressure causes pain to the top of my foot. I also have bruising on the side and my heel. Two of my toes are bruised. I have not dropped anything on my left foot or fell.

Swelling and bruising on both feet can most commonly occur due to trauma. However, in the absence of history of trauma, disorder of coagulation pathway is suspected.



I suggest you to get few investigations - platelet count, prothrombin time and activated thromboplastin time. I suggest you to consult hematologist for clinical assessment and prescription of investigations.
