Hi Dear,

Welcome to HCM.

Understanding your concern. As per your query you have extreme dryness in the throat which could be because of damage to epithelial lining of mucosa. I would suggest you to do warm saline gargles 3 to 4 times a day.
Take ibuprofen tablet to avoid pain. Throat lozanges one every 4 hours will help to remove dryness. Sip luke warm water throughout the day. Take milk boiled with a pinch of turmeric and cinnamon as it will give you antibacterial properties. Avoid hot, sharp and spicy food and include soft foods to avoid irritation to the throat. Visit ENT specialist once if symptoms keeps on persisting and get properly examined and start treatment accordingly.

Hope your concern has been resolved.
