Suggest Treatment For Extreme Sweating, Headache And Bodyache Since 5 Days

For five days now, every muscle in my body hurts. Three days ago I started with extreme sweats throughout the day. My head hurts. I have a non productive cough and I get cold chills from time to time. I went to a clinic and a doctor said my lungs were clear and there was not enought symptoms to warrent an atibiotic.

Hi,

Noted your history about severe body ache, sweating, headache, non productive cough, shills, the Doctor saying about clear lungs and no need of an antibiotic.
All your symptoms are suggestive of septicemia which should be checked well and supported by the following investigations.
Hence I would advise you the following:
Consult your Doctor again or see another for proper clinical evaluation.
Insist for tests of blood: CBC, sugar, liver, kidney functions, blood culture and sensitivity.
X-ray of chest and if needed a CT scan of lungs and liver.
Urine routine, microscopy, culture and sensitivity.
Any other tests as warranted .
All these will give a reason for a course of an appropriate antibiotic , symptomatic and supportive management.
Take Paracetamol as per your weight.
