Hi..
Can understand your concern..
As per your complain it seems that there is some part of
nerve fibres still present alive in any of the root canals leading to
severe pain as soon as anything touches them( as you said that you have lost the filling also and the internal part of tooth is exposed to the oral cavity).
Other reason can be that due to loss of temporary filling there is penetration of food debris and bacteria into the tooth and root canals leading to re-infection of the tooth and hence pain..
I would suggest you to consult your
dentist and first of all get checked by getting an
x ray done to find out the exact cause of pain and get treated accordingly. .
You should get the temporary filling done as the tooth should be completely sealed during the treatment duration to avoid infection. .
In case infection is detected a full course of antibiotics for 5 or 7 days should be
One important suggestion I would like to give you that till you have pain do not ever get the final filling that is permanent filling done to avoid further complications..
Hope you get well soon. .
Thanks and regards. .
