Hi doctors my partner and i had sex during my menstration i m on my 3rd when we had unprotected sex. After that day i still bleed but i got afraid because i read an article that sex during period can cause pregnancy so i took the first dosage of nordette after 5 hours i starting to feel dizzy and i started vomiiting then at 11 pm i took the second dosage of nordette and at 2am i started vomitting and i have extreme vaginal pain whenever i am urinating and dizziness. What should i do? Your thought is a big help. Thak you
Hello I share your concern Looking at your history this could be Infection or inflammation of the urogenital tract another possibility is adverse effects of nordette, Chances of pregnancy are very unlikely with intercourse during menstruation so you need not to worry.
I would like further information to help you better like Your age and exposure to unprotected sex in recent past? Is it associated with pain in abdomen or nausea or vomiting?
In my opinion you should consult a gynaecologist for physical examination and battery of tests to establish a diagnosis.
Meanwhile maintain good hygiene Have plenty of fluids including lemon water and fresh fruit juices Hot water bath Use condom during sex until you recover fully.
Thanks for your question Best wishes
