Suggest Treatment For Facet Joint Syndrome

i recently have had back problems in my lower back the doctor says facet joint syndrome. im in my second series of shots in my spine. To what degree should i hurt the next day. i had my shots yesterday and the pain is about to kill me today. is that normal?
