Hello, I m currently experiencing a facial burn. My face was burned while getting a facial wax. Basically a layer of my skin was peeled off and its semi deep. It s red and leathery. It s on my cheeks and chin. What would you recommend i use to help cure this?
Hi. As per your case history of facial burn, my treatment advice is - 1. Avoid using soap and don't apply any antiseptic lotion like Dettol on affected skin. 2. Clean the skin with plain water and apply a mild antibiotic cream like fusiderm cream twice daily on it. 3. You can take oral antibiotics like levofloxacin and NSAID after consulting a dermatologist.
Thanks. Dr. Harshit bhachech. MBBS, DDVL.
