Hi Dear,

Welcome to HCM.

Understanding your concern.

Falling out of filling from abscessed tooth as per your query is because improper anatomy of oral cavity. The tube sometimes didn't tie well or movement of oral cavity is also responsible for falling of tube .

There is nothing to panic . What you cab do is :-

- Apply cotton swab on the opening so that pus drainage will be continue and no foreign substance can go inside .

- Change the cotton swab regularly when filled with pus .

Visit the dentist again without any delay for proper insertion of tube so that pus drainage will occur without any obstruction.

Hope your concern has been resolved.

Best Wishes,
Dr. Harry Maheshwari
