Suggest Treatment For Fatigue And Chronic Headache

I am extremely fatigued all the time. By the end of the day, I am so tired I literally have to lie down or I feel sick to my stomach. My heart feels like it is beating very hard taking a simple walk to my teaching duty out at the baseball field at the end of the day. It's not a long walk. I have absolutely no energy. I often have headaches. My feet and the back of my legs hurt where my knees are. Sometimes my calves will hurt as well. I want to exercise, but my heart hurts. I get sick to my stomach when I do this. I have been check by a cardiologist three years ago, who said my heart was in great health. I used to exercise six days per week. Now I struggle to get up in the morning and make it through my day.

I can understand your concern. You have multiple symptoms like pains in multiple sites of body, tiredness, fatiguability, stomach complaints, complaints like racing heart, headaches, pain in feet and knees etc. These symptoms can occur due to somatic symptoms due to depression or somatisation disorder. Your heart investigations came normal which also strengthens our diagnosis. I would advise you to visit a psychiatrist for treatment of these symptoms.

In somatic symptoms and pains medicines like SNRI drugs as Duloxetine, Venlafaxine etc can help. These medicines help to reduce pains in body and also reduce depression. With time you will gain the motivation back and will function normally. Consult a psychiatrist for prescription of these drugs.
