Suggest Treatment For Fatigue And Drowsiness With Gall Bladder And Uterus Removal

I had a laparotomy 13 weeks ago. Had severe endometriosis removed. I had my uterus removed, my appendix, a bowel resection of part of my rectum and sigmoid colon. Had endo removed off the bladder as well. I still don t feel that great. Quite fatigued, nap a lot and bowels are not back to normal yet. I was told to do walking but it s like 100+ degrees here. It it ok to go in the pool and walk slowly in the water?

Hello,

You had a big operation and it may need up to four months to feel like your old self.

You should Increase your physical activity. Swimming is a great idea. You should have been feeling better in three weeks but may need up to four months to get fully recovered.

Walking in a pool is a very effective exercise.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Olgeta Xhufka,
