General Surgeon 's  Response
Hi,

You have not mentioned about what the Doctor has said nor given the list of medications he has received.
The probable causes can be an intestinal infection that is causing all the symptoms.
I would advise him the following:
Send the stool for lab.
Blood tests like CBC, for typhoid, for liver and kidney functions.
Ultrasonography of abdomen.
All these will give a proper diagnosis and proper management.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. T Chandrakant,
