Suggest Treatment For Fatigue, Memory Loss And Dizziness

For the last 6 months I am experiencing extreme fatigue.I have lifted weights for the past two years. For the past 5 months I have experienced loss of strength. I could bench press 250 lbs 10 times no problem. Now struggle to lift 190lbs .I have recently injured my shoulder. I try to avoid falling asleep while driving home from work. I suffer dizzy spells. I have memory loss.I cannot run as far as I used to just 6 months ago without gasping for air. I sleep well. My diet is somewhat healthy. No junk food very little bread and dairy.

Hi,

Thanks for your question.

After going through your question, I can understand your concern.

I want to know your -
- Age
- Any past medical history like presence of diabetes, blood pressure or cholesterol problem.
- Any drug use, smoking, alcohol.
- Any medicines are you taking.
- What type of shoulder injury it was, what was the opinion of treating doctor.

I would like to advise you to consult your physician for detailed clinical examination.

Following investigation may help you in diagnosis and appropriate treatment.

- T3, T4, TSH to rule out hypothyroidism.
- Basic lab test like CBC, Liver function test, Renal function test, Urine examination.
- Vitamin B12 and Vitamin D level.
- ECG, 2DEcho of heart.

Depending upon aabove test and neurological evaluation there may be need for brain imaging like MRI brain with angiography.

Till that time have nutritious diet, drink plenty of water, green leafy vegetables and fruits.

Hope this helps you, if so do vote.
