Hi. My advice is that you may get a serum Vitamin D level , Vitamin B12 , serum cortisol test , TSH test, serum calcium, serum electrolytes, parathyroid hormone test , and blood lead level if these tests have not been done before. If there are abnormalities in these tests you may seek treatment to correct it. However, As you have said that your blood tests are ok I presume that your CBC, blood sugar values, blood urea , creatinine etc levels are ok. As you have indicated that your current medication helps you feel better you may continue the same. You may also try to improve your sense of wellbeing by aerobic exercises/taichi/yoga and other wellness practices according to your lifestyle and temperament. Eating a well balanced diet composed of natural foodstuffs with multigrains, yoghurt and different fruits and vegetables also improves your overall sense of wellbeing if you are not allergic to them. Relaxation techniques that calm your mind can be learnt from websites such as about.com or from trained practitioners . A simple exercise would be to close your eyes for 5 minutes everyday and perform simple visualization exercises by visualizing yourself as seated and receiving all energy giving and health giving rays from the sun . Such simple exercises practised on a daily basis would help you to develop a more radiant attitude and positive outlook. The practice of aerobic exercises has shown to be helpful in may ways . It is better if done with a cheerful and supportive group and instructor as that builds motivation to continue. Keeping a diary of positive thoughts and goals to look forward to, to read and reflect will also help in lifting your mood. Try to be around positive people who support you , encourage you and have an optimistic outlook on life. There are also relaxing music pieces both classical and fusion that are available on youtube/ music stores. You may choose one that you feel good with and try to play it softly a few times during the day. If you feel better with your current medication and have no other health issues then its ok. However if you feel uncomfortable and miserable further you must consult your doctor .
