Suggest Treatment For Femoral Tremors Having Difficulty In Eating

I am a 48 year old male with what has been diagnosed by a neurologist as a femoral tremor. My father has a severe tremor and is 83. He does not have parkinsons nor do I as we have both been evaluated. I currently take APO-CLONAZEPAM 0.5MG up to 3 times a day. I find that it slightly helps but the more I take, the more drowsy I feel. I have had tremors since I was 20, primarily in the hands with a subtle shake in the head. Over the last 3 years the hand tremor have gotten to the point where I can't write and have great difficulty with eating such items as soup or cereal from a bowl. I can actually see that it is getting worse even after all these years and can discern a difference from what it was 4 months ago and 4 months before that etc. Are there any other alternatives to my medication. Other than this, I am in perfect health.
