Suggest Treatment For Fever And Bruise On The Inner Thigh

My son is 7 y.o he had a fever over the course of 3 days, during that time i noticed he had a bruise on his inner thigh, i was wondering could it have come from the fever, he said it didnt hurt and he was not hit by anyone or fell, I had bathe him prior to the fever and the bruise was not there.

Hello,

The bruise is not related to the fever. It can be caused by a micro trauma that you don't remember. I suggest using cold compresses for local application. I also suggest using anti inflammatory medications such as Acetaminophen to relieve the fever.
