Suggest Treatment For Fever And Chills

Hi, may I answer your health queries right now ? Please type your query here...I have been taking penicillin for a week now but my throat still has pus on it and I get fever n chills. I ll feel ok then feel sick . I don t know what to do, usually after a 2nd day of treatment I feel good but that s not the case.

Hi,
It seems that you might be having acute tonsillitis and bacteria causing this infection might be resistant to this antibiotic.
Go for other antibiotic like Azithromicin for 3 days.
Do salt water gargles.
Ok and take care.
