Hi,
If your doctor has prescribed Bricacef 100, Zerotuss XP, and
Ibugesic Plus for your child, it's important to follow their instructions and give the medication as directed. These medications are commonly used to treat infections and fevers in children.
In addition to giving medication, you can also take the following steps at home to help your child feel better:
- Ensure plenty of rest and a lot of fluid intake for your child.
- Use a cool-mist humidifier to help ease
cough and congestion.
- Keep your child's room well-ventilated.
- Use saline nasal drops to help clear nasal passages.
- Use a bulb syringe to clear your baby's nose if they're too young to blow their nose.
It's important to monitor your child's symptoms and fever closely and contact your doctor if the child's fever persists or their symptoms worsen. In some cases, hospitalization may be necessary, but your doctor will advise you on the best course of action based on your child's case.
Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. Priyanka, General & Family Physician
