Suggest Treatment For Fever And Excessive Sweating

My husband is in very good health however he has a had a fever off and on for the last 6 days. He will have profuse sweating from time to time with the fever, but no other symptoms. No cough, sore throat, congestion- just the fever and sweating. We did see a doctor, they did confirm that he had no urinary tract infection then they told him it was probably just a virus
