Suggest Treatment For Fever In A Child While On Meftal And Combiflam

My son is 6years 10 months of age..day befire yesterday ,his fever started with 100 f..doctor suggested to give 8 ml of calpol250 mg.d fever didnt subside..yesterday it reached 102 degrees and by night it was 104degrees...calpol was nt reducing d fever so doctor suggested to gv meftal p 7.5 ml if fever is 103 and combiflam if Thnx

I really appreciate your concern, the underlying cause of fever is matter of concern, and for that better to get done the routine blood tests although in pediatric age the cause of fever could be virus and if this is so then be patience for some days and let the course of fever and everything would be fine soon, however the high grade fever could be due to bacterial infection hope this information concern helps.
