Hi,

You need to consult a general surgeon at the earliest for an ultrasonography scan of the abdomen to rule out -

common problems like appendicitis or any obstructions in the Gastrointestinal system since he is not taking any food.

Presence of fever and vomiting is hinting towards infection in the Gastrointestinal system. If nothing significant is found in the scan then the doctor shall prescribe antibiotics to treat the infection.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
Dr Riyanka Chail, General & Family Physician
