General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

If the blisters on your penis are painful, I would highly suspect herpes. Even though you haven't had sexual intercourse in several months, you may have contracted it a long time ago and didn't know it, and only now have started having outbreaks. I would recommend you see a doctor to confirm the diagnosis and get started on antivirals to help shorten the outbreak.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Aaron Branch,
