General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi,

If the fever persists for more than three days, blood tests should be taken to identify the cause of fever. Since the name of the medications has not been mentioned, it is difficult to give suggestions. If the prescribed medication contains drug for fever, continue it every 6 hours for one more day. Cold sponging of the body should be done to reduce the temperature. You can measure temperature at home and visit hospital if fever more than 101 persists for a day.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Saranya Ramadoss, General & Family Physician
