Suggest Treatment For Fever, Sore Throat And Swollen Glands

I have the flu- went to doc yesterday and confirmed it- had it since approx. 1:00am xmas eve morn with onset of fever chills, raw throat, swollen glands and raw nose- cough congestion wheezing. i took mucinex 12 hr.; ther-flu day and nitetime; tussin dm, that I had here in med. chest. he said i had the worst behind me- no need for tami flu now, i d probably be contagious til friday. now today- fever back up to 100- cough coming back- i even wore a mask in his office that the recept. gave me, why am i worse today and what do i need to do? Oh I keep the vicks cream on nose,throat and chest

you have cotacted viral infection. can take analgesic and antihistaminic. take sufficiant water. if sore throat increases bthen go for warm saline gurgling.
