Suggest Treatment For Fever, Vomiting And Congestion

Hello,
My name is Amber and I've been sick almost two weeks now with fever, vomiting, congestion, fluid behind my ears and coughing A LOT. So much so that the back of my head and neck hurts so bad when I cough now. I've taken nasal spray, benadryl, nyquil and naproxen sodium. Nothing seems to help much with the pain and congestion. My fever has broke and I haven't vomited in a few days now. What else can I do to get rid of this irritating, nagging cough???

HI, thanks for using healthcare magic

The nasal spray would help if there is a post nasal drip that is contributing to your cough.
This can occur in many cases.

In addition to the spray, the use of a mucolytic (if the cough is production or there is congestion) which breaks up mucus would help.
This can be combined with a cough suppressant.

These would be available over the counter.
