Suggest Treatment For Fever With Eye Pain And Headaches

Hi, I have a fever/cold. I am experiencing hot/cold flashes, pain behind my eyes and hurt when I look up and I am constantly freezing. I have a history of random headaches throughout the week for about a year now. So, today at dinner, I suddenly felt nauseous and dizzy. I went to get up and get a glass of water and I felt very dizzy, I was seeing black spots, and I heard ringing in my ears. I fell to the floor and I think I blacked out for a few seconds. My mom woke me up because she was right behind me. My body felt heavy, I was still seeing black spots, my ears were ringing and I felt like I was going to puke. I went to my living room couch and layed there because I felt like I was going to vomit. Everything subsided after awhile and I got up and I am now laying in my bed. What just happened? I am a 16 yearold girl by the way. Thank you for taking your time to read this.

Welcome to HCM!

Your symptoms are indicative of infection, might be related to CNS. system.

you should get the blood test, and scans. Had I been treating you, I would go for - complete blood counts, liver function, kidney function, sugar levels, blood pressure and pulse readings. You may need to get Lumbar puncture done alongwith a visual screening test.

You should be put on - antibiotic like : cephalosporins, along with paracetamol, may also need anti emetics- metocloperamide / ondansetron.

please continue to eat and take adequate water / liquids and take rest. Avoid being alone at home till you become better.

More can be said only after the test, but you should see a doctor ( preffrably a neurologist).

hope the reply is useful
Wish you good health
