Suggest Treatment For Fever,sore Throat,headache And Eye Pain

For the past week and a half, I have had a fever, sore throat, headache, eye ache, swollen lympe noids, half plugged nose, dark urine and left wrist tingly/ numb. When ever I run and swing my left arm back and forth (elbow bent at 90 degrees) the whole arm does numb. When my hand left hand goes numb in turns blanche with red splotches, then when numbness goes away the fingers on my left hand are very stiff. What could it be? What should I do? How can I prevent it?

Hi Dear ,

Welcome to HCM.

Understanding your concern. As per your query you have fever,sore throat,headache and eye pain . Well there can be many reasons for symptoms you mention in query , but in your case it seems to me that the symptoms are either die to upper respiratory track viral infection or sinusitis . I would suggest you to consult ENT specialist for proper examination . Doctor may order CT scan for sinusitis , throat swab test , viral culture test to confirm the diagnosis and rule out allergic reaction . Doctor may prescribe antibiotics ( amoxicillin or penicillin ) at least for a week along with decongestant and expectorant . Doctor may also refer you to allergy specialist . For now take steam thrice a day , take benadryl twice a day and do warm saline gargles .
