Suggest Treatment For Fibroids And Cysts On The Ovaries
hello i am reading about a total hysterectomy My doctor thinks i new this because i have A large fibroid and cysts on my ovaries , I am nervise about the side affects . My doctor says some women like sex better but i dont read that . So give me the truth please
Hello, Thanks for trusting healthcaremagic. I have gone through your query and I can understand your concerns. Fibroid is a benign(non cancerous) tumor and it is quite common in middle aged females. It is a harmless lesion, once you get operated you will be free of symptoms. The treatment option depends on the size of the fibroid and clinical symptoms, since you have mentioned it a large fibroid, surgery may be needed and it is the best possible option. Surgery is not a complicated one,and post operative complications are less. Most of the ovarian cysts will subside by it self and you may require hormonal treatment in some cases. If your doctor is suspicious about the cyst it have to removed and sent for biopsy to male a diagnosis. Hope I have answered your query. Wishing you good health. Regards.
