Suggest Treatment For Fibula Head Fracture And Tibial Plateau Bone Bruise
I have a fibula head fracture and a tibial plateau bone bruise. It happened almost 3 weeks ago. I have been on crutches and wearing a boot for support. When I try to put weight on it my calf really hurts and my leg is really stiff. Is this normal and when can I realistically not use crutches at a?
* As per my clinical experience, the usual bone healing time for a minor to moderate bone crack is around 6 to 8 weeks duration.
* However, there are individual variations possible in this regard depending upon the calcium level, host immune response , age, associated comborbid conditions as obesity, diabetes and others.
* Kindly continue your current therapy with regular follow up with your orthospecialist to get best possible guidelines of cure.
* I would suggest to avoid much pressure bearing during this time period for allowing best and early recovery of the bone crack.
