Suggest Treatment For Fistula-in-ano

I am suffering from fistula in ano and its been 3 years now. Doctors suggested surgery to get rid of it but I heard many side effects of surgery and reoccurance . its improving on its own but want to know what are the long term effects if I do not go for surgery.

Surgery is the best and curative treatment for fistula in ano. Consult a general surgeon and plan for surgery. You can get an MR fistulogram prior to the surgery.
