Suggest Treatment For Flap Of Skin In Throat

I noticed when my two year old stuck out her tongue, her uvala is connected to the side of her throat on one side, and on the other side, there are flaps(like webs of tissue), with only a small opening to her throat. Is this an emergency? Can it wait till Monday?

ENT Specialist 's  Response
Hello,

If your baby is having difficulty in taking food or any shortness of breath, then you have to go to emergency as soon as possible.

But if your baby is not having these problems, then it is alright to visit on Monday. You need to consult as soon as possible, if baby has fever, drowsiness, or choking sensation.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Rajat Basak
