Suggest Treatment For Flu Along With Upper Respiratory Tract Infection

I have had flu like symptoms for nearly 12 months. I cough up phlem morning and night. My taste and smell disappear completely quite regularly, I also suffer from headaches and severe bouts of tiredness. When at altitude my face and ears are pressured and cause pain. My GP thinks I might have a post nasal drip problem and possible blocked sinus. What do you think I should do?

Hello.
Welcome to HCM.

See, it seems like a chronic infective state. It needs a proper examination and a few investigations. Do the following-
Get a chest X-ray PA view done.
Get an X-ray PNS done.
Get a sputum culture and sputum for AFB done.
Take grillinctus or ascoril cough syrup.
Take paracetamol for fever and headache.
Take multivitamin syrup.

Get back to me with the reports or you can consult a pulmonologist.

Hope this is helpful.
Regards
