Suggest Treatment For Flu And Cold For Past 6 Months

I keep getting the FLU / COLD for the past 6 months - Over and over, I keep forming abscess's under arm pits and in the small of my back (12) times over the past 4 years, I sweat for no reason every night, I have been tested for HIV (Negative). Many blood tests conclude nothing! I am tired all the time. Every time I go the the E.R. they want to excise the current abscess. My body is screaming for Antibiotics for some reason in my mind. Every doctor has been baffled, what can I do? Who should I see now (4) different doctors later. I am virtually broke now with no insurance! I am exhausted to no avail and sick again.

Hello, I empathise with your concerns. Three issues to be addressed :
1. Recurrent colds
Do you have a history of asthma or allergies? This could predispose you to get frequent cough and viral infections. If you recoughing atleast 20 days out of 60 days, with cough disturbing sleep, it is likely that you have asthma. Inhaled steroids like fluticasone and relievers like salbutamol will greatly help (and you can use them at home)
2. Abscess in armpits -
It is likely that you have a bacteria called MRSA on your skin that increase the frequency of abscesses. Treatment would be to apply mupirocin ointment on your nostrils, armpits twice a day for 5 days and wash well (especially armpits and groin) with.chlorhexidine body wash.
3. Tiredness
Please check your hemoglobin, vitamin D levels.and thyroid function if not already done. If you re having chronic pain and tiredness, it is also.a symptom of infectious mononucleosis. A simple blood test for EBV VCA antigen will.diagnose this.

Hope this helps and feel better soon!
