ENT Specialist 's  Response
Hi,
Welcome to healthcare magic.
I had gone through your question.
There could secondary bacterial infection. So might need a course of antibiotics.
I recommend the following..
1) A course of antibiotics.
2) Analgesics like paracetamol for pain.
3) Salt water gargling. Add a pinch of salt to a glass of warm water.
4) An expectorant cough syrup.

She will be fine. Nothing to worry.

Hope I have answered your question. If you have any questions, I am happy to help you.

Wish her a speedy recovery and good health.

Regards,

Dr Paparaja S MBBS MS
