Suggest Treatment For Flu Like Symptoms And Severe Cough

My husband is 66 years old 2 years ago he was told he had heart failure which is being treated with medication he seemed to be doing ok now he seems to be going backwards we went to emergency the other night because of a cough and general weakness with a cough they checked for the flu did a chest x-ray along with a ct-scan blood work seemed to be ok sent him home. He is still weak and the cough seems to be getting worse.

Flue like symptoms with severe cough with history of heart problem in past. Needs investigations for cough-detailed physical examination/sputum examination with culture & sensitivity /X ray chest.Please consult a chest physician. Assessment of his cardiac health is also essential ,as his cough might be of cardiac origin.please consult a cardiologist. Knowing about the problems in detail your treatment would be decided. Which would free you from the trouble.
