Suggest Treatment For Fluctuating Blood Pressure When Diagnosed With Diabetes

blood pressure in right arm is 138/80 and left arm is 156/86. I have had sharp pain between my shoulder blades for more than 6 mo. P.T didn't help. Trigger point injection didn't help, and there is no Herniated Disc on MRI. I am 59 years old and have type 2 diabetes.

Hi Dear,

Welcome to HCM.

Understanding your concern. As per your query you have fluctuating blood pressure when diagnosed with diabetes. Well hypertension is an extremely common comorbid condition in diabetes,In type 2 diabetes, hypertension is often present as part of the metabolic syndrome of insulin resistance also including central obesity and dyslipidemia. I would suggest you to consult cardiologist for proper examination . Doctor may order certain test to confirm the diagnosis like ECG , TMT along with complete bloos profile . Doctor may prescribe ACE inhibitors, β-blockers, and diuretics . For now stay calm , eat healthy , eat light and do regulas light exercises .

Hope your concern has been resolved.
