Hello there, I can understand your concern. I would like to know your TSH values to give a better opinion. While you were diagnosed to be hypothyroid were you started on any medicines for the same? Are you becoming hyperthyroid on the medicines or is it without any treatment. Sometimes there are antibodies in the body which may act in 2 different ways. 1 type may increase thyroid functions and another type may decrease thyroid functions. The best way to go about this is to meet an endocrinologist who may suggest blood tests like a complete thyroid profile. If needed a Technetium scan of the thyroid to know functional status. Only after seeing the reports can we give you a correct opinion. Hope this helps. Take care.
