Suggest Treatment For Fluid Behind Eardrum Causing Chills, Sweats And Nausea

My wife has fluid behind ear drum. She is extremely dizzy and nauseous when she tries to sit up or stand. She is also having chills and sweats. The clinic gave her Flonase and meds for vertigo. Is there anything else we can do to help her? She is extremely uncomfortable!

OB and GYN Specialist 's  Response
Hello,

I suggest her to take the medicine as prescribed, it might be an infection which will resolve by medicines and if it does not subside then visit an ENT as it needs a proper clinical examination to rule out if its a sinus.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
Dr Naira Jahangir, OB and GYN Specialist
